Ride up to Castle Hill for one of the best views in Budapest. You see the seven white towers of Fisherman's Bastion, with the Danube and the Parliament dome below.
The ride up to Fisherman's Bastion was the highlight — a beautiful route and an incredible panoramic view at the top. Perfect if you want a fast, memorable way to explore the city.
Buda Castle and the Fisherman's Bastion area offer a rare combination of history and architecture. Buda Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage site, home to Hungarian kings for centuries and now housing the Budapest History Museum and the Hungarian National Gallery.
Fisherman's Bastion itself is a neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque terrace overlooking the Danube, named after the fishermen who once defended this stretch of the city walls. Its seven towers represent the seven Magyar tribes that founded Hungary.
Together these sites trace Hungary's story from medieval times to the modern era. The area around them is full of quiet streets, small cafes and shops — and on a Segway you cover all of it without the climb.
